Stanley Joss House

“A Chinaman, who is supposed to be laboring under some religious delusion, set fire to the Joss House at the Stanley Camp yesterday morning about 11 o'clock. That temple was completely destroyed, and it was only by the aid of the police that the camp was saved from being totally consumed."
