Scattered Legacy

Sam Lee's Laundry ran in Corowa and then Albury until 1956 when the owner left behind many documents of a business and personal nature. Many assume Sam Lee was rhe owner's name but it seem deriving from an American tradition many Chinese laundries were named "Sam Lee" meaning "Triple Prosperity" in Cantonese. Wong/Huang was perhap the family name of the owner.
