Memorial inscriptions
The public association was established in Qing Guang-Xu Xin-Hai year (1911 or 1912?) spring, till now Ming-Guo Jia-Yin year been four years. Although there were a few times of expansions and modifications, its establishment was all to rely on the effort of the fellow people. Firstly in Geng-Xu year spring, the fellow people has set up the main purpose/framework to promote its public welfare, then record the rules, mail out overseas ports. Till end of ???, people join together requested donation for the matter of cleanness and tidiness, Xin-Hai year spring fellow people glad to donate around silver 700+ dollars; shortly after, all ports ??? street lights, every shops mostly donate lights in front of doors, it is same till now. Originally used Zhao-Xun (?) tang as the association place, built a branch location here, here is the central place of the village, fellow people often came and went happily. April Summer, the proposal to giving free medicines was carried out by virtuous people voluntarily, regularly gave salary till now. Every year people came to ask for medicines are many, the medicines were given out not less than thousand, that was because many supporters donate for this matter. Their generosity was greatly applauded. In the Geng-Chou year summer, the organisation organised selling goods, no days and nights (24hrs) for a few months. The final remaining surplus was silver dollars 700+. In the autumn proposed to build association. After a few months can see the structure. $1,600 building fee, remaining 600+. Every port continue remittance will be used for regular expense, every budget around 8-900. End of the year will send a record as a long-term plan. Although not perfect plan hoping fellow people will co-operate to maintain generous donations and support and assist together to promote and maintain honour for the future.
